I would not recommend the TruGlo Buckline TG85394XB Rifle Scope for your 308 AR hunting rifle. The rings provided are much too low to provide a comfortable shooting position, this scope will also not be able to withstand the recoil from your .308 rifle. I would recommend using the TRYBE Optics 4-16x44mm HIPO RifleScope, which will require you to purchase high height 30mm rings, but will be a great option for your rifle.
