This TruGlo High Performance Turkey Choke for Benelli consists of a choke tube and a wrench that is very good for tightening the rings on your shotgun. The new process allows the steel to be hardened to withstand the stress of firing with some of the highest performance turkey loads on the market such as Hevi-Shot, Winchester Long Beard XR, Federal Premium 3rd Degree, and similar high-performance turkey loads. With that said, the choke tubes are still able to produce a lethal pattern with relatively light amounts of wadding such as found in some of the older 3rd degree choke tubes. What's more, the choke tubes are able to attain that pattern with less shot such as tungsten, lead core or copper-plated. The key to obtaining such a pattern is a TruGlo High Performance Turkey Choke that has a multi-phase groove design. This patented process causes the wad to "spin" or "float" in the chamber of the choke tube. This allows the choke to "self-index" (i.e. the wad does not bounce back) when it is fired from the gun. This allows the choke to continually "separate" or "flow" and, as a result, the pellets to be expelled from the choke tubes in a controlled manner. This allows for tighter, denser patterns, i.e. greater coverage at greater distances when a turkey is targeted.
