Designed with the competitive shooter in mind, the Ultradyne UD11210 Athena Linear Compensator 350 Legend Black Nitride 416 Stainless, is one of the most advanced recoil reduction systems on the market today. While the initial velocity of the recoil is reduced, additional energy is retained and recoil increases as the velocity of the gas increases. As a result, the shooter gets a greater effect from the cartridge than a traditional recoil brake. Gases are vented at an angle then vented back towards the shooter to keep muzzle rise to a minimum and control recoil. A timing nut is included for easy installation, and the muzzle rise is also optimized with the gas vented at an ideal angle then forward. This sends a lower percent of sound and gases back towards the shooter, optimizing sonic performance over recoil.image
