The Unico PowerSpin MXD Model C8706 Centrifuge is a 6-position horizontal spin laboratory centrifuge that's user friendly and made to help prevent human error. With room for up to six 15mL tubes, the horizontal variable speed Unico PowerSpin MXD Centrifuge offers spin speeds of 1000 to 3000 RPM, and a 0-RPM safety lid hatch lock that will not open until the centrifuge rotor has come to a complete stop. The horizontal rotor insures that the Unico C8706 PowerSpin Centrifuge provides a clean and total separation of cellular components, for a superior serum or plasma specimen. Using a horizontal rotor for spinning Serum Separator Tubes (SSTs) creates a tight uniform horizontal seal, reducing the risk of red cell leakage and possibility of specimen deterioration - particularly important when the specimen is sent out for testing. The Unicon C8706 PowerSpin Centrifuge operates quietly to provide minimal disruption to your laboratory environment - and the shock-absorbing rubber feet mean less vibration to disrupt your work bench, as well as a secure grip that will hold the unit in place.
