The 6in wide, 7Cr13 stainless steel bearded axe head has a hair-shaving sharp, 8.5in blade that has a black finish. The traditional bearded blade design that was used by Japanese carpenters has been elevated into a formidable battle weapon. The curved handle is crafted of impact-resistant, injection molded nylon and it has a heavily EDM textured grip. The 27in overall battle axe comes with a premium leather cover with heavy-duty belt loop and double-snap closure.image
