Where does this bracket mount on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU? Expert Answer

The Up Down Air Jeep JL ARB Compressor Mount & Connection Kit will be compatible with an automatic 2018 Wrangler 2-door (JL). It mounts near the fuel tank and reuses the OEM fuel tank skid plate bolt and will require you to drill one additional hole. Instructions as well as all required hardware are included.

Product Info for Up Down Air Jeep JL ARB Compressor Mount & Connection Kit

Up Down Air ARB Mount & Connection Kit includes an extra thick heavy duty mounting bracket with mounting hardware. Included in this kit is an extra thick heavy duty mounting bracket, mounting harware, 2 x 90-degree 3/8 swivel push-to-connect fittings and 48in Hi temp/hi pressure air line hose. When working with a automatic transmission, you must use the auxiliary disconnect valve, which is part of the ARB system. You do not need an adapter for the auxiliary disconnect valve since the factory ARB is permanently installed. However, you will need to convert the ARB system to the manual push-pull adapter on your auxiliary air source before you can use the remote auxiliary air source. You also do not have an adapter for the high pressure port on the ARB system. You will need to remove the compressor and auxiliary air line before you can connect the remote air source to the system. You do not have to remove the entire ARB system to add the remote control valve. You only need to mount the ARB air compressor with this kit, and then mount the ARB air control valve using the factory mounting bolts and hardware. You do not need to remove the factory transmission dipstick.image
