The US Night Vision USNV-18 Gen 3 NightVision Monocular 000212 is an extremely versatile and high performing Night Vision Monocular. These USNV-18 Generation 3 Monoculars by US Night Vision can be used hand-held, head-mounted, weapon mounted or attached to a camera/camcorder. The multi-coated optics and integrated IR infrared illuminator enhances image clarity in low light situations. The unit operates on a single 3V lithium battery and is submersible up to 2 meters. The USNV18 Gen. 3 Monocular also features an infrared illuminator and low battery indicator in the user’s field of view, allowing the operator to monitor functionality while in hands free mode. The “single tube/single eyepiece” approach to Night Vision Monocular is based upon the battle proven concept that independent use of each eye maximizes the ability of the user to operate under a wide range of low light applications. This tactic enhances the user’s field of view and allows the user to retain full peripheral vision in the unaided eye. The unaided eye now works in conjunction with the 40 degree field of view offered by the Night Vision Monocular device. US NightVision USNV-18 Monoculars come with a Generation 3 Intensifier Tube, developed by US Night Vision, for high performance and image resolution. The Generation 3 image intensifier tube will give users greater clarity than a Generation 2 device, and will achieve high performance in all conditions.
