The V Seven Hybrid 3Gun/Sport Selector is a lightweight safety that features a programmable selector for use with standard Mil-Spec bolts and locks. The selector is compatible with both AR-15 and AR-10 style semi-auto rifles and is the result of years of experience in the development and use of a wide variety of military and law enforcement issued weapon systems. The basic function of the V Seven Hybrid Selector is to allow the shooter the ability to quickly and efficiently engage/disengage the fire control mechanism by means of the thumb lever and index finger hole during use with either the right hand or left hand. This gives the shooter the ability to quickly and effectively cycle the fire control mechanism. The ambidextrous function of the V Seven Hybrid Selector allows the shooter to quickly cycle the fire control mechanism and potentially activate a hammer or detent by moving the selector a single half turn, resulting in a 57 degree throw. The core of the selector is constructed from Grade 5 heat treated, hardened titanium that has been DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) & coated with Ion Bond Finish (DLC). The Levers are constructed from 7075 T6 Aluminum and is Type 3 Hardcoat Anodized.
