This takedown pin set is designed for large platform 308 type Sr-25/DPMS firearms. This takedown pin set features a stainless steel tensioning device and elongated tangs for easy installation and a spring-loaded retention device that prevents the pin from becoming lost or damaged during removal. For added security, the pivot pin has an oversized anti-rotation feature. This design allows the pins to be installed with the sleeve or spring-loaded end up so that it does not need to be removed during installation. For added security, the pins also include a security feature that prevents the pin from being pulled out accidentally. This avoids the need for tools and maintenance such as periodic replacement of the pivot pin or takedown pins that can become lost during field use. These Grade 5 Titanium pins are durable, strong, and completely immune to most corrosion issues that steel pins are subject to.
