	The most important feature in Steiner Commander XP Marine / Military Binoculars is the Steiner XP Optics; a new high definition, broad band optical formula that features record setting light transmission for times in the dark and clear, sharp, high contrast and comfortable images in daylight.
	In addition to the Steiner XP Optics, is a high-tech optical coating on both the objective and eyepieces called "Steiner NANO-Coat". This new coating repels water and moisture off the lenses leaving them clear of water or moisture. Like windshield wipers for your Steiner binoculars, you won't ever have to wipe them clean of moisture. The secret lies in a unique permanent molecular bonding substance; that makes the lenses so smooth, that absolutely nothing adheres to them.
	Steiner also introduces a choice of eyecups with the Steiner Commander XP 7 x 50 Waterproof Binocular: a winged, profiled set (to block sidelight); a flat set for users with glasses; and an extended set for users that want the full eye-relief without the side flaps. All three are included with the Steiner Marine 7x50mm Commander XP Binoculars and interchange in seconds.
	Steiner's XP Float Strap is wide, comfortable and very visible on water by use of a Safety-yellow color. Like a life preserver for your Steiner binocular, it is included with the Steiner Marine Binoculars Commander XP 7x50.
	The exterior of the Steiner Commander Water Proof 7 x 50 mm Binoculars also got a make-over: Steiner Commander XP 7x50 Binoculars features NBR Long-life armoring designed to extend the service life of the rubber casing two times or more over previous models, yet the grip is smooth and firm.
	Each Steiner XP Commander Binoculars gets a Clic-Loc attached wide neck strap and a Yellow float strap. Through the Clic-Loc system, users can interchange between the straps in seconds and an optional body harness (Steiner #986) is also available. The Steiner Commander XP 7x50mm Marine Binoculars includes a protective case. The Clic-Loc system allows instant on and off between the included neck strap and the floatation straps for your binoculars. Not only is it secure, it's also fast. A simple push-button design releases the strap end and allows easy change and reattachment of Steiner harness, Steiner strap or Steiner floatation strap.
