Initially introduced in 2003, the SSS has been updated based on Galcos experience and market feedback in the intervening years.
Constructed of premium steerhide, the improved Side Snap Scabbard retains the quick on-off snap loops that fit belts up to 1 1/2. The open top design remains the same, with the addition of a reinforced mouth for smooth and easy one-handed return to the holster. New to the SSS is a slight butt-forward cant, in contrast to the steeper angle of the earlier version. It keeps the adjustable tension unit and the comfortable, highly concealable forward-molded design of its predecessor, while adding a raised sweat guard to protect both the firearm and the gun carrier. Taken together, these features add up to a holster that is secure and convenient yet concealable with a very fast draw!
