Are these stand alone, or is soft ballistic panels required underneath Expert Answer

These are standalone plates, however they are not NIJ rated.

I really like these little plates. They fit well in my carrier’s and are so light weight. My old AR550 Armor was so heavy it started hurting my shoulders after 30 minutes. I hardly notice the Vism Armor.
