Product Info for Volquartsen Firearms Thread Protector for 1/2 x 28 Threads

The thread protector is designed to extend the overall length of the 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel. It is machined from a solid 416R stainless bar stock and anodized for long wear life. This protects the outside of your 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel and aids in cleaning as no cleaning can be done without it. The outside of the thread protector is serrated to easily remove/insert your cleaning rod and serves as a bar guide for the cleaning rod. The inside is coated with a fine lubricant to prevent corrosion.image
