Vortex Summit XLT Tripod ST-3 is among the best field packing tripods in the business, capable of getting out of your pack and under a spotting scope with a minimum of time and effort. These fast and versatile Vortex tripods are equipped with 5-section legs, which expand to a maximum height of 64.1 inches but collapse quickly and compactly for easy storage and transportation. Twist leg locks make all the rapid adjustment of the tripod possible, and the tripod's three leg angles put you in complete control of the tripod's position. The Vortex Summit Extra Long Extension Tripod comes equipped with a free-moving ball head with a quick release plate for rapid attachment and detachment of binoculars or spotting scopes. When the wind starts to blow, you don't have to worry about your binoculars falling over; Vortex Optics has equipped the Summit XLT with a balance hook to hold extra weight at the center of the tripod, adding stability.
