These round-bottom vials have a strong, consistent seal that is ideal for use with liquid-filled centrifuges. Closures are easily opened and closed with standard syringes, either manually or with a blowout tool. Made of borosilicate glass, they feature a spheric neck finish. Large base area provides a large sealing surface. Large or small openings in an equal volume make the same inside diameter measurement, so the same volume of fluid can be collected from each opening. The wide mouth provides greater volume and easier filling. Large openings also permit the addition of large particles and color indicators without compromising the sample inside the vial. Round-bottom shape retains any excess volume, making the vial useful for use with a large variety of sampling devices. Broad base provides a strong anchor for the collection of internal parts. Closures feature a consistent full-throw nature, sealing to the full-throw mouth, eliminating the need for plugs or pouring stems. Surface is then electropolished to provide a consistent outward appearance. Large openings are suitable for applying a wide variety of in-line and out-of-the-vial openings.
