VWR precision ASTM thermometer sets 61054-530 and -532 are ideal for use in quality control laboratories, and where ISO 9000 traceability is required. Sets are designed for use as reference standards in temperature measurement where extreme accuracy and traceability to a fraction of a degree is required. It is essential in establishing working standards and in checking existing temperature standards. The five points of calibration are specified in ASTM E-1.

Thermometer sets 61054-534 and -536 are ASTM-Type (not ASTM) partial immersion thermometers. Made with the same exacting quality as ASTM precision thermometers, except calibrated for 108 mm (41/4") immersion. Useful where insertion space is limited or samples are small.

Each instrument is individually calibrated against National Institute of Standards and Technology traceable equipment. A certificate is provided outlining the traceability, tests, and results.
