For laboratory, scientific, and research applications, the VWR® Clamp BossTM Head was developed to offer a reliable and easy-to-use replacement clamp head. The Clamp BossTM Head features a Teflon PTFE clamp band and the bayonet-type quick-release button, which keeps the clamp attached even under conditions of high humidity, changing temperature, and agitation. It has an insulating cover over the clamp head to prevent contamination of the clamp bar. Its flanged lower jaw allows the use of a wide variety of manometers, gon-donkers, and vises with a minimum of effort. A large tab on the clamp head indicates the presence of a clamping device. The Clamp Boss Head may also be used to hold flexible recording devices, such as the Mandoscope, in place while recording.
