Compared to flat combs, which are typically made of only one material, the Comb Inlet in the Comb-12 wells will allow an excess of media to flow into the comb, reducing or eliminating the need for media changes. The Comb-12 well plate is an inverted plate that has been previously charged with radioactive isotopes by a manufacturer and then is ready to use. A well comb is provided for the lid of the Comb-12 well plate. There is a vent at the bottom of the plate and a syringe port at the top of the Comb (12 wells).
