Designed for use in sterile procedures requiring sterility assurance, these polypropylene tubes feature molded spouts and plug-seal caps. Tubes are molded from a unique, flexible, borosilicate glass-filled, polypropylene copolymer. The unique cap design ensures a tight seal with most lids and reduces the possibility of contamination from splashed medium or drenched culture plates. Caps feature molded leakproof spouts and polyethylene plugs. Tubes are molded from flexible, sterile, double walled polypropylene copolymer (PP) copolymer (CCMP) bottoms. Tubes with molded in plug-seal caps have an exposed plug nose for better laminar flow in tubes filled with small volume organisms.
