You can count on this general-purpose, conformable tape to perform a variety of general-purpose and cleanroom applications. The tape consists of a low-molecular-weight polyethylene (plastic) adhesive polyethylene release liner and conforms to itself, non-woven polyester fabrics, and any other fabric surface. The smooth release liner provides adhesion to rough surfaces. The tape gives an overall appearance of the surface to be masked and conforms to irregularities in the surface allowing release of masked contaminants. This tape provides excellent masking of contaminated surfaces as well as effective isolation of contaminated areas. It performs well as a first-line or second-line masking application for cleanroom personnel or equipment in a cleanroom environment. A strong adhesive prevents leaks during installation and ensures that the tape and method of application will perform well for the life of the product. The release liner prevents adhesive from contaminating other materials or substances. It leaves a clear, matte finish. The low-molecular weight of the polyethylene material allows it to be easily removed without leaving a residue.
