Activated carbon and molecular sieve elements are inserted between the reacting gas and the reactant gas, typically a liquid such as nitrogen. The reactant gas is then compressed by the diaphragm and passes through the catalyst support to provide a usable gas to the catalyst. This two-stage regulator provides both molecular weight and absolute purity. Regulators are built from corrosion-resistant materials and have PTFE diaphragms with WER and MPA options. The two-stage design eliminates the need for frequent changes of the regulator due to plugging or plug failure, and allows for easy cleaning without the use of a bowl cover. Ordering Information: Filters and pre-assembled cartridges are required for operation.
