An economical way to cover your slides, these round cover glass slides from Erie Scientific are ideal for use with slides. With a uniform thickness and size, Erie Scientific Micro Cover Glasses, Round, No. 1 offer maximum clarity, superior corrosion resistance, and uniform thickness and size. These slides are safe to use for electrophoresis, though they will distort the appearance of slides. For use with slides, first put your slides through a cleaning solution to remove any surface oil. After the solution has dried, break the section in half and remove the inside cover. Put the original cover back onto the slide and reinsert the cover glass; no need to wait for the other half to fall off.
