For leakproof performance, vacuum performance is obtained with trapezoidal sealing rings on the contact surfaces of these Cowie vacuum sleeves. All PTFE products in this series are inert and usable to 280C (536F). Avoid contact with oxidizing agents. These grease-free, high vacuum sleeves perform extremely well with grease-free vacuum pumps. Simply place the PTFE product in the adapter, purge the system, and then remove the adapter and insert according to manufacturer's instructions.
