The VWR Hi-Pres Nitrogen generator provides process control with apparatus free from hazardous and/or combustible materials. The manual override overwrites all previous values to produce an identical batch of nitrogen. The control panel features a PTFE window, Teflon valves and a stainless steel valve body. Nitrogen is evolved from the reacting liquid to form a solid inert mixture which chemically reacts with organic molecules to form a solid, inert substance. Nitrogen vapor adsorbed onto the surface of all media and bulk vapor adsorbed forms a uniform distribution network. The presence of the catalyst does not cause any reaction in the presence of undesirable gases or liquids. The catalyst does not cause any oxidation or chemical change in the process stream. The degree of oxidation or chemical change is not affected by the catalyst support.
