Product Category Description:

Bottles and caps are constructed from borosilicate glass that is free of BPA, phthalates, EDTA, and other unwanted components. Autoclavable, and resistant to most chemical solvents, these specimen containers are designed to eliminate contamination of cell suspension or elutriation of precipitates from culture tubes. The unique two-piece design features a funnel-shaped top that eliminates splashing and clogs with dried precipitates. Large openings in both caps permit visualization of the rinsing solution without splashing or leakage. There is a small opening on the cap that is used to aspirate supernatant from the tube and, therefore, no cross contamination between samples. There is a very small opening on the cap that is used to aspirate supernatant from tissue culture tubes. The stopper provides an airtight seal that eliminates evaporation of culture supernatants during electrophoresis. Ordering Information: Autoclavable; nonsterile caps only.
