These extremely clear, polypropylene, centrifuge tubes offer exceptional clarity and maximum long-life performance. Tubes resist most chemical and organic solvents, including phenol, which makes them useful for EPA and TMA test methods. Large openings in the cap allow visual inspection of entire volume of liquid without opening the cap. Large plug cap provides protection against exposure to sample while filling, or to prevent sample evaporation during filling. Tubes with larger openings are also suitable for tangential acceleration procedures. Large tubes with plug caps should be capped immediately after use while plug caps permit drying of contents, which stabilizes the tube in place. Large tubes with large openings are best suited for EPA and TMA tests.
