Product Category Description:

Reusable for gas, liquid, and air transfer between apparatus of the same kind, but different types. Connectors of this type are used for connecting test-tubes, hoses, and tubing of various inner diameters when apparatus of different inner diameters is connected in series. Regardless of the type of fluid connection, however, the tapers of this type do not ordinarily change as the degree of vacuum exceeds the maximum allowable vacuum that may be present in a room. These connectors eliminate the vacuum build-up that typically develops between laboratory tubing and tubing. Flexible, but non-kinking, these are kink-free and easy to install. Boasts excellent corrosion resistance and performance. Meets the majority of liquid transfer requirements for purity and safety. The low-viscosity of the epoxy coating (parts generated during autoclaving) required by many Federal Regulations.
