Product Info for VWR Vial Inserts VWC4010-630P Polyspring* Polypropylene Insert

Polypropylene inserts for standard size vials feature a "spring-back" design that cushions the blowout from the blowout stem, making knockout much easier. Inserts are molded from a durable, chemical-resistant polypropylene that will not swell or crack after boiling or incubating and are easily removed with a twist. Accessory holes allow attachment of identification label, date or time. Simply squeeze the two tabs to separate the plug and eject the plug or use the wire torquing device to hold the plug in place. Purchase up to a six-pack of inserts for storing and/or sharing of vials. Note: Not designed for use with borosilicate glass or polycarbonate vials.image
