Binocular viewing head with single diopter adjustment rotates 360°. Rack and pinion focusing provides fluid, precise focusing with tension control adjustment. The slip-clutch mechanism prevents gear damage. Illumination is provided by either a dual incandescent light stand or upper halogen/lower fluorescent light combination stand. The frosted glass stage plate in the base provides evenly diffused illumination.
