Two-sided polyethylene tape forms an air- and moisture-tight seal around wafer boxes, fish tanks, fume hoods, incubators, and other small openings. The tacky adhesive property of the tape allows it to be removed with no adhesive residue. Tape adheres to smooth and slightly abrasive surfaces. Apply to the top or bottom of a sealed wafer box to keep samples free from contamination. The low-affinity polyethylene adhesive provides high tack strength and reliable performance. Polyethylene tape is most commonly used for medical, sterile, and general-purpose packaging applications. Applications include the packaging and holding of vacuum formed and assembled microbiological and cytological containers, environmental monitoring, manufacturing and process control, and research laboratories.
