This is a 1 mL bulb that will fit all major brands of single-use bulb racks. It is ideal for use with transfer pipets and other lab transfer devices that cannot withstand the higher internal volumes of most hospital grade rubber tips. The bulb is not affected by extremes of heat or cold and will flow normally even when liquids are solid or abrasive. This bulb is easy to use; do not apply tremendous amounts of force when aspirating. When bulb is almost empty, aspirate out and apply pressure again. The inert rubber will not deform from being a pipet and is ideal for clinical laboratory use. Always replace the ink tip and ensure that the bulb is securely closed while aspirating. It is recommended that the ink stick be replaced with an inert plastic stick to prevent deformation of the tip. When changing between female and male ink tips, be sure to push the tip slightly into the liquid stream to minimize aspiration.
