Product Category Description:

The large rubber bulbs, with threaded ends, provide excellent chemical and temperature resistance. They may be used as stand-alone devices or set up as positive displacement rubber valves for all types of pipetting equipment. Large rubber bulbs are supplied without air chambers. They have fine graduations and sturdy, metal valve stems. The numbering on the top of the bulb refers to the order of the three bulbs that compose the set. Bulbs are stored in a patented resealable case. A double electrical tape marks the location of each double-sided tape on the bulb and the bore of the valve stem, indicating the size of the bulb and the position of the electrical tape inside the bulb. Bulbs are fitted with a double-sided thread on the top of the bulb stem, enabling them to be easily indexed. A bulb without a number signifies that the order has not been filled and is considered a "spare" bulb. The position of the double-ended bulb is stamped on the top and bottom of the bulb shaft for identification. Large rubber bulbs are supplied with a broad range of tips, needles, valves, and fittings for all common pipets, manometers, and computer probes (see 200-60 section).
