The LB10S's single patented tamper-proof blending rod ensures the integrity of the material being processed. If a coarse dry powder needs to be mixed with a liquid, the blending rod can be employed rather than the patented tamper-resistant jar to provide a uniform wet material. If a fine dry powder is required, the LB10S can be operated at low speed manually or with an automatic switch. The timer sets the amount of time the blender runs on a delay, so there is no need to preset a delay in between running tests. The lock-down switch prevents the blender from being operated when the power switch is off. The LB10S laboratory blender has been designed for use with Waring jars, beakers, test tubes, and weighing beakers. It will also blend dry materials.
