I ordered these rings for my smith and wesson 460 revolver to hold the leupold silver hand gun scope, just want to make sure they are right. thank you Expert Answer

That completely depends on how the scope is being mounted. These rings will barely be tall enough so if there is a front or rear sight on the revolver, that will cause problems and if you are talking about the VX-3 2.5-8x32 scope that will also cause problem. Just put these scope mounts with a Leupold pistol scope on my BFR 45-70. Sighted in and shot a box of shells. Everything is holding tight. Hope to go hog hunting this fall. would definitely recommend this mount.

The Warne Maxima Scope Ringsfit Weaver style cross slot bases for a no slip recoil. These Warne Rifle Scope Rings withstand heavy recoil through the square recoil control key for positive engagement of ring to base. Warne Silver Finish Scope Rings permanently attaches to base for a secure mount. The Warne 200S Scope Rings works with softer or less durable materials and protects against swaging or preening for a perfect shot every time.image
