Warne Scope Mounting Base Remington 740, 742 And 760 are precision manufactured using very tight tolerances. Maxima Ring Bases are manufactured with a full width recoil slot in each base that gives the Control Keys enough grip to stop severe recoil. Maxima Mounting Bases are designed around the popular Weaver Ring Mounting Base design, which is one of the strongest and versatile mounting systems available today. The low profile of the Warne Mounting Base allow use of the iron sights when the Scope has been removed.
