Fta Classic Card PK100 Whatman FTA Classic affinity cards are fully functional and provide the user with all the functionality required in a modern day identification card. A unique two part mannose feature on the reverse side of the FTA Classic card facilitates the two part process. The result is faster, simpler and error-free identification of a single molecule in complex solution. The addition of a MyLAR interface transforms an FTIR image into a visual similar to that of a gas chromatography system whereby the size of the molecule is determined by its position in the support. Simply place the rear of the card against the sample plate or fibers and the resulting image is displayed. The Optically Fine fibers of the FTA Classic card are fully entangled and provide a sharply defined tip with four flags for proper alignment. Because these are made from cellulose fibers rather than glass, their sturdiness is unaffected by temperature and humidity extremes and they offer little or no corrosion protection.
