Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper provides an exceptionally fine filtration with respect to the molar volume of a compound (i.e., the molecular weight of the compound being filtered). Whatman Grade No. 1 Pre-Filter Paper may be used as a preparatory step in the filtration of a final product, or as a prefilter in the development or production of molecular sieves or gradient filters. Whatman Grade No. 1 Pre-Filter Paper may also be used in the development or production of molecular Sieves. Whatman Grade No. 1 Pre-Filter Paper may be used in the preparation or analysis of all forms of matter except oils, gaseous substances, liquids, and vis. Whatman Grade No. 1 Filter Paper may also be used in the preparation of chromatography preparatory steps in the preparation of all types of paper preparatory to analysis.
