Paper exhibits a brownish tinge to the printed surface, particularly noticeable when the paper is first wet. After exposure to a liquid stream, the paper lies flat on the plate and does not reflow. The paper is easily removed by scraping or by heating the plate to a liquid state by raising the temperature slightly.
