Whatman Grade No. 43 Quantitative Filter Paper, Ashless, Pack of 100 is made of extra-soft laid Whatman No. 43 Quart Filter paper and is ideal for the preparatory stage of distillation procedures. The paper is made of 100% extra-soft laid Whatman No. 43 qualitative filter paper. Its purpose is to "precipitate" or "retain" the diluent from interfering with the distillation process. Whatman Grade No. 43 Ashless Filter Grade No. 43 is universally useful in the qualitative and instrumental development of a wide variety of organic compounds. The paper is spheroid and non-absorbent, whatman 43 Grad No. 43 Ashless Filter paper is ideal for all applications except where great care must be exercised. It is highly absorbent and non-detergency will not result from the paper being laid down.
