Full-featured, automated multichannel pipettors offer the accuracy, speed and convenience scientists and lab professionals demand. Wheaton Socorex Acura multichannel pipettors offer eight channels with an optional 96-channel version. Eight channels are numbered from 0 to 8 and can be used in any combination. The control panel includes an intuitive LCD display, digits that display the actual volume delivered, and the minimum and maximum allowed volume allowed. A visible, audible click and feel tip ejector confirms the delivery and enables easy monitoring of the delivery. An on/off valve triggers the multichannel pipettor and shuts it down reliably. Ordering Information: The Wheaton Socorex Acura pipettors have an ergonomically designed handle with a soft touch knob and a redesigned base. The handle is now shaped more comfortably for use with smaller lab gloves. The new design has a smooth tapered handle for easier orientation and ejection. The handle is now shaped more elongated to improve comfort when positioning the pipettor. A new, lower profile lever provides easier access to the control panel. A convenient lock knob increases the lifetime of the device. An optional, colored window on the side of the handle confirms the volume of the pipettors. The window also has an LED to show the current and minimum volume remaining in each channel. A red LED indicates a low level of liquid in each channel and can be easily seen through the illuminated portion of the window.
