This will work for any AR-15 it is not caliber specific. It locks into the chamber allowing you to remove any force that would be put on the receiver when using other style vises.

Good for holding barrel. Good for tightening the nut. excellent for checking the barrel for alignment. I would have preferred it to be steel. keeps torque off the upper receiver. I don't know what else to say.
