Positive and negative ions mix with molten aluminum to make one of the most versatile metal sunglasses ever invented - Wiley-X XL 3 Sunglasses. Through patent Wiley X Magna-Seal technology, gaskets can be placed or removed simply by sliding the aluminum gasket on and off the Wiley X XL-3 Sunglass frame. Dimensional gaskets lock to the frame through magnetic attraction. Ultra Foam coats each gasket providing wind protection in all directions when desired. A mini-elastic strap attaches to the frame through T-Peg docking converting Wiley X XL3 Sunglasses into a functional Goggle. Remove the gasket and you have a great pair of Sunglasses in any casual setting.

Wiley-X XL 3 LA SUnglasses / Goggles come with Light Adjusting LA Grey Mirror Lenses - darken on bright sunny days to shield the eyes from harmful Ultra Violet rays. Wiley X Lens Technology: WileyX produces lenses using the precise amount of dyes in the manufacturing process, eliminating eye fatigue and strain. All Wiley X lenses offered by OpticsPlanet block 400 nanometers or 100% of the suns harmful Ultra Violet rays. Each lens is made from pure shatterproof Selenite™ polycarbonate and far exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety and ANSI Z80.3 optical standards. WileyX then formulates and die-cuts each lens to eliminate distortion, giving the user perfect optical clarity. These features of Wiley X sunglasses and goggles, combined with a wide range of performance enhancing tints, work together to provide the ultimate in eye protection without optical compromise.
 

Wiley X Lens Sunglass and Goggles Technologies
t_la LA™ Lenses - darken on bright sunny days to shield the eyes from harmful Ultra Violet rays. On overcast days or at night the lenses adjust to clear for perfect optical clarity. Now you don't have to stop to interchange lenses. This new technology is also produced using shatterproof polycarbonate. This is much different than the old photochromic lens technology that use glass and CR-39™, which can shatter if struck by a rock while riding. We've also incorporated our new Emerald 4™) anti-reflective coatings to eliminate back-lit glare from the sun or car headlights truly giving the wearer the most functional riding lens available.
 
t_f3 Filter 3™ Lenses - combine a new Crystal Gradient lens with a flash silver mirror so they can be worn during the day and at night. The silver mirror surface was developed to absorb glare from the sun and oncoming headlights while riding. It also eliminates 100% of the harmful Ultra Violet rays that cause eye fatigue and damage. The Crystal-Gray gradient lens underneath gently shades the eyes, providing perfect optical clarity for any time of day.
 
t_f2 Filter 2™ Lenses - join our Neutral Slate lens with our Bronze Brown dye's to make the perfect daytime riding glass. Grey hues cover the top half of the lens providing extra shade from the sunlight above. The lower half of the lens unites our Bronze Brown dye to highlight the road in front. The gradient lens blends the two colors gradually making a lens tint that is soft on the eyes and perfect for bright sunlight and overcast days.

t_ns Neutral Slate Lenses are great general day-time riding lenses. These will provide maximum glare reduction without distorting colors. Ideal for most riding conditions where glare is a major factor. Light Transmission - 20.23%
t_cac Clear as Crystal Lenses allow maximum light transmission without changing the value of colors. The clear choice for hazy, overcast, dusk, dawn, or night riding where clear protected site is the main objective. Light Transmission - 89.30%
t_lr Light Rust Lenses filter out blue light waves which are the chief components of glare and haze. These lenses provide contrast enhancements in medium to low light conditions. Great lens for any time of day or light condition but especially effective on hazy or overcast roads. Light Transmission - 53.23%
t_sg Smoke Green Lenses are great general day-time riding lenses. These will provide maximum glare reduction without distorting colors. Ideal for most riding conditions where glare is a major factor. Light Transmission - 21.09%
t_ss Silver Steel Lenses combine our multi-coat, z-oxide™ mirror surface over Neutral Slate Lenses. Diminishes glare by absorbing reflection across the mirror surface. Excellent lens for day time riding. Light transmission - 7.19%
t_bl Blue Lunar Lenses combine our multi-coat, z-oxide™ mirror over our newly developed emerald lens tint. Provides glare reduction, sharpens vision and detail through enhancement of neutral colors like black, brown and green. Great all around lens from dusk to bright mid-day sun. Light Transmission - 10.02%
t_bi Blue Ice Lenses combine our multi-coat, z-oxide™ mirror surface over Neutral Slate Lenses. Diminishes glare by absorbing reflection across the mirror face. Ideal for day riding where glare is a major factor. Light transmission 4.85%.
t_cr Crimson Red Lenses combine our multi-coat, z-oxide™ mirror over our Neutral Slate lenses. Diminishes glare by absorbing reflection across the mirror face. Ideal for most activities where glare is a major factor.
t_pns Polarized Neutral Slate Lenses use the latest in polarized film technology and shatterproof polycarbonate lenses. Our Filter 8™ polarized film eliminates glare, allowing the user to see clearly with more detail and definition. Wear with caution while riding due to the glare from oil spots and ice being eliminated from vision. Light Transmission - 10.05%
