The telescoping Muzzleloader sight uses the rifles's iron sights as a guide to properly aiming your muzzleloader. If your muzzleloader does not have a sight, you can easily install a Williams Metal Firesight such as the Standard, Tactical or Drop-away sights. The benefits of a sight such as these is that they can be used on any Muzzleloader regardless of what size the barrel is. Since the Muzzleloader has no bell, the sight can be used on any weapon with a similar sized aperture. The longer the muzzleloader is, the further back from the center of the firesight cone the sight will be located. This provides two advantages: firstly, the sight is able to be seen clearly in the foreground, and secondly, the sight has a wider viewing area which helps the shooter see more of the front sight in the foreground, which is vital with regard to determining which part of the wood the shooter is most focused on.
