Was really bummed out when this upper did not work with my handgaurd due to needing a mil spec upper reciever. If that's not an issue for you its a solid choice for a clean billet upper. May have to get one in the future for a different build.

Great product, tighter BCG raceway. Love the slick side. Can’t go wrong with this well made upper receiver. Especially useful when paired with a heavy barrel, added thickness produces less fess flex and more support for the barrel

Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum allows them to both address structural design weaknesses in standard rifles and provide some of the highest tolerances in the industry when it comes to AR15 Upper Receivers. A billet upper receiver means that it has been machined start to finish from a single piece of aircraft aluminum, rather than forged. This allows for more strength in the parts, allowing for higher tolerances and durability. Rather than offering the standard forged receiver, the Wilson Combat stripped upper has extra material around stress points and more precise fitting when combined with the AR lower receiver.
