Why is the Wilson Combat rifle length gas tube too long when I am using a Wilson Combat low profile gas block and the 20" WC Super Sniper barrel?

Wilson makes a rifle length gas tube for both the AR10/308 and one for the AR15/233,556 and 300aac. The one for 308 is longer than the smaller calibers.

Wilson combats gas block low profile is awesome for my stag 10 AR 10 308 build. Wilson combat barrels use a proprietary gas tube so I figured I’d use their gas block as well. I am impressed by the quality and would buy again. The price is great.
