The Blade V series calls were designed with throat calls in mind. This gives you the option of having two calls in your calling arsenal without having to change calls. The second call in the series, the "Blade V," features a removable third reed. This call has a very aggressive short cut design and is a little thicker on the front end so that it will produce the reed changes that you need to sound like multiple reeds. The "Blade V" is a very difficult call for open calls to sound like. For the best sound, use the longer reed on this call.
