The ridge helps bring longbeards in close enough to coax them closer to you. Each Stinger has a different notch configuration allowing you to vary the length of your scream. Each snare has a ridge on 3 sides to achieve maximum volume. This is one of the most versatile calls we make. They key is using a short stranger snare effectively and correctly, which makes them harder to jam accidentally than other calls. One of the reasons we make them is so they ring true.
