Knife designer, John Campbell has spent his life learning to survive in some of the harshest terrains found in the United States. He has used his knowledge and experience to make over 140 videos on desert survival and survival equipment. And now he has designed this incredible collection of survival knives. Designed with John's expertise and hand-crafted with ours, these knives are rugged, functional, and get the job done. From the tip of the blade to the end of the exposed tang, everything about this knife says survival. Tough and heavy enough to handle special jobs that may require a little extra brute force, it is still capable of slicing tomatoes paper thin. This blade will stand up to years of slicing, chopping, stabbing, and splitting. It can be carried by soldiers for all military related tasks from defense to field chores. Specifications: - Overall length: 14" - Weight: 22 oz - 9" long, ¼" thick blade with a 15 degree edge powers through wood like a wedge - Heat-treated to Rockwell C54/56; 1075 High Carbon Steel with Black Powder Coating - Jimping on spine of blade and on back of handle ensures excellent grip - Exposed tang with jimping enables scoring of bone for improvised tools in the field - Tang doubles as a glass breaker - 3 holes for lanyard locations - Deep belly of 5" long, black G-10/fr4 handle provides safe handling and comfortable grip while wearing gloves - 2 thumb grooves in the handle for extra comfort while using different hand holds
