The Aluma-Classic® Fence is designed to safely and accurately feed material into a machine. The smooth-rolling ball bearing roller quickly locks the wood in position without shifting weight or damaging the machine. This patented technology serves as a safety feature for machine operators by preventing the machine from tilting forward or back due to dust generation. The large easy-to-read graduations and scribed notches make set-up straightforward and accurate. Heavy-duty support ribs firmly in place on each side of the machine body eliminate movement and hold-over potential. Each roller is clearly stamped with the angle and distance to the nearest tenth of an inch, allowing quick and accurate setup. An internal support locates the machine at the cut line so that the saw's vertical travel is as short as possible. An internal anti-kickback rib also protects the machine table from accidental tilt. With a scribed tenon locating the upper left corner of the tenons, this tenon locating rib also protects the user from accidentally cutting themselves. The riving angle of the riving bar prevents accidental cutting of the clamping lugs. For added safety, the riving bar extends beyond the edge of the clamping lugs to guard the work safely.
