The ML-0004-5 sight set will work for a Marlin 336 that has a dovetail cut directly into the barrel. If your rifle has a ramp, then you will need the ML-0012-5 set.

I put these on my browning blr. It groups 1 inch groups at 100 yards with a 3-9x40 leupold. I get 2-3inch groups at 100 yards with these sights. On a bench rest ofcourse. More than accurate enough for my intentions for this gun!!
